Students
The Faculty of Philosophy Libraries can be used by:
- Professors, colleagues and students enrolled at the University of Belgrade, University of Fine Arts in Belgrade and Belgrade Higher Schools
- Professors and students from other domestic and international colleges and universities
- Non-university research workers as well as those working in Education and Culture, and fine and applied arts
Registration and Lending Books
Registration is not mandatory for using the majority of the Faculty of Philosophy Libraries, but publications are lent only upon the deposit of a student’s I.D card (Index), personal I.D. card or Passport.
The Collections can only be used:
- In the reading rooms
- On loan, off premises ( for professors, colleagues and students of the Faculty of Philosophy)
- Old and rare books (published before 1920)
- Books in manuscript and archive material
- Periodicals (magazines, newspapers, etc.)
- Doctoral dissertations, and M.A. and B.A. theses
- Reference literature (bibliographies, encyclopedias, lexicons, dictionaries, etc.)
- Maps and cartographical publications
- Bibliophile, jubilee, and other significant publications
- Publications containing fine arts reproductions and drawings as well as luxuriously illustrated publications
- Damaged or worn publications
If users use The Faculty of Philosophy Library resources off the library premises, they must return publications within the loan period as granted by the librarian. If books are not returned to the library upon the expiry of the loan period, or if the loan period is not extended, the libraries will take required measures for the return of the items lent, starting with a reminder. If the user does not return the borrowed publications after three reminders, legal proceedings will be taken. The user will be liable for all costs incurred in recovering publications.
