Course objectives: Training for the use of applied drama and theater techniques in educational work with adults.

Course description: Areas of interactive drama and applied theater. Applied drama in adult education. The pretend play as the basis of a dramatic expression and incentive for development at all ages. Theatrical performance as a developmental and educational activity. Improvisational techniques in educational work with adults. Improvisational and interactive theater. Theater of oppressed and Boal's theater (image theater, rainbow of desire, legislative theater, invisible theater). Pedagogy of oppressed and forum theater. Psychodrama techniques, sociodrama and playback theater. Role-Playing Techniques in Educational Work with Adults. Creative drama, process drama and theater in education. Basics of Physical and Expressive Theater. Puppet Theater, Masks and Theater of Shadows. Performance as an Expressive method in Adult Education. The performance of a lifetime and its development potential. Pervasive games in adult education. Clown Theater. Facilitating the drama process and the group. Planning and organizing educational work in which a drama approach is used. Facilitating and processing techniques.

Learning Outcomes: Student will be able to: differentiate forms of interactive drama and applied theater; apply techniques of drama and applied theater in educational work with adults; examine the possibilities and potential of the applied theater in the concrete social context and for specific categories of individuals, specific target groups and professional groups, organizations, local and wider communities.
