Course objectives: Developing the knowledge and skills for research of parenting, creating and implementing educational programs for the development of parenting and for the improvement of family socialization

Course description: Contemporary theories about parenting. Theoretical foundations for the creation of educational programs for parenting. Issues of defining the goals of educational programs for parenting. The values in educational programs for parenting. Educational needs of parents as the basis for creating the content of educational programs for parenting. The effects of educational programs for parenting. Evaluation of educational programs for parenting.

Learning Outcomes: After the course, student will be able to explore the phenomenological aspects of parenting, and apply different theoretical approaches in creating educational programs for parenting; student also will be able to use different methods for determining the educational needs of parents and various procedures for the evaluation of educational programs for parenting
