Course objectives: Understanding and critically examining the position of adult education in the strategies of social development, as the way of support for social groups and empowerment for inclusion in society

Course description: Theoretical course: Theoretical models of social work in the local community and the position of adult education in these models; Position of education in national and European legal regulations and strategies for the protection of minority groups; Socially organized practice in the protection of minority groups - national and European experiences (programs, forms, methods of work); Integral model of social welfare in the local community; Contemporary research on the role of education in support of minority groups; Practical classes: Creating a model of an education program for the training of professionals in social welfare

Learning Outcomes: The student is able to understand and explore the real power of adult education in social development strategies and to explore the functions of adult education in models of support to minority groups in social welfare
