Course objectives: The goal of the subject is acquisition of knowledge related to the concept and types of unemployment, its causes and effects, as well as the basic characteristics of unemployment in Serbia, with a special emphasis on the role of adult education in prevention and overcoming the unemployment problem.

Course description: The notion of unemployment; Types of unemployment; Causes and effects of unemployment; Characteristics of unemployment in Serbia; Active labor market measures; Education as part of active labor market measures. Different types of educational programs for the unemployed - demonstration and creation of individual segments

Learning Outcomes: After the completion of the course students will: know the content of the concept of unemployment, its types, causes and effects; have the basic characteristics of unemployment in Serbia; know measures of an educational character for the unemployed; be able to implement some segments of education programs for the unemployed.
