Course objectives: Understanding and advising in the implementation of communication skills in order to improve the practice of adult education.

Course description: Theoretical and practical teaching: Attention and listening. Skills of non-verbal communication. Holding and positioning the body. Conversation and discussion. Encouragement and feedback. Reflection on content. Expression of feelings. Reflection on feelings. Self-enclosure. Communication styles. Assertiveness. Learning methods of communication skills. Developing relationships in an educational adult group: Experience in a small group. Experiential learning. Group dynamics. Education in small groups. Application of techniques in developing relationships. Developing intuition, creativity and fantasy. Experience in large groups. Communication in organization and institution system. Methods of educated work with large groups. Self-management: Taking control of conditioning. Learned helplessness. Locus of control. Self-concept and educational experience. Personal effectiveness and personal development. Taking care of yourself. Stress and relaxation. Keeping a learning journal.

Learning Outcomes: Student will be able to: recognize and understand the codes of different communication modes; to manage communication in an educational adult group; to know the principles of self-management and to advise adults in that field.
