Course objectives: Training students to understand the importance and role of leaders in different areas of activity, to create and apply adequate educational models in the process of developing leadership competencies.

Course description: Theoretical course: - Theoretical approach to leadership - leadership as the subject of studying numerous disciplines; -The role of leaders in a changing world (in different areas of business - business, entrepreneurship, culture, politics, science, profession ...); -Theories and leadership styles; -Strategic leadership; The role of power in leadership (types of power and effects of power use); - Training of leaders. Practical course: - Leadership in Contemporary Practice; - Leadership styles; -Leader skills / competencies: uses and models; - Leadership and team management; - Management of leaders’ training (planning, organizing, leading, evaluating and controlling); -Specificity of leaders’ training.

Learning Outcomes: - Understands leadership roles; - Evaluates the significance of the areas of leaders’ activities important for designing the development of leadership skills; - Apply more approach to the development of leadership competencies; - Creates models for the development of leadership competencies; - Manages with training of leaders.
