Course objectives: Acquiring knowledge and skills for educational activities and professional research in the field of adult leisure time in order to improve the practice of adult education and learning.

Course description: Theoretical study: Education and adult leisure culture. Leisure studies: world relations. Specificity of leisure adult education. Research of the adult leisure education: world relations. Methodological specificity of the study of leisure education. Education and specific types of communication in leisure of adults. The general andragogical relevance of the study of leisure. Specific areas of leisure education (tourism, ecological education, recreation and sport, play, art, amateurism, innovation). Leisure education in the specified conditions (enterprise, cultural institutions, family, old, young adults, disabled people, gender...). Contemporary educational technology and leisure of adults. Practical teaching: Planning, programming, organizing, practising and evaluation of various cultural-educational activities in leisure; Advisory professional abilities and skills in the field of leisure.

Learning Outcomes: Student will be able to deepen knowledge and develop professional counselling skills in leisure time of adults; to select content and areas of cultural and educational offer in leisure; to design programs of adult leisure education; and to design and do research in the field of tourism, recreation, sport, play and creativity of adults.
