Pre-requisites: To have attended the necessary number of semesters as proscribed by the study plan.

Course objectives: Enabling students to independently recognize and interpret the basic forms of immobile and mobile objects belonging to the Early Christian period.

Course description: Review and analysis of basic types of cult architecture (churches, monasteries, baptisteries), Early Christian internment practices in all its forms (memories, catacombs, tombs), an overview of Early Christian cult objects and church paraphernalia (moveable objects), with a basic presentation of Early Christian art (sculpture, painting).

Learning Outcomes: Attendance, participation, essay and oral examination.
