Pre-requisites: Prerequisite for following the course Social psychology in clinical practice is passing exams from previous years of study, as regulated by the statute.

Course objectives: Social psychology in clinical practice is a course conceptualized as applied social psychology, whose aim is to instruct the students in conducting socio-psychological research concerned with different fields of clinical psychology.

Course description: Course contents depend on the interests of students. In cooperation with the mentor they choose a field and subject. Course contents are selected from among the fields studied in courses Social perception and interaction and Socialization. Conceptual apparatus acquired in these courses serves for further deepening and a more thorough study of narrower problems important in particular for clinical psychology and practice: personal fulfillment, attitudes towards health, towards various diseases, patient-physician interpersonal relationship etc.

Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to independently carry out relevant empirical research related to socio-psychological aspects of problems that can be faced in clinical practice.
