Course objectives: Thorough introduction of professional and ethical requirements and contemporary standards of research and practice in the psychology of work, developing of sensitivity for the professional and ethical issues and defining the starting point for resolving ethical dilemmas.

Course description: Introduction to professional and ethical issues in psychology and work psychology; Professional competences of work psychologists; Work psychologist as a scientist and practitioner; The role of theory in psychology of work, The links between theory, research and practice in psychology of work; Ethical Principles in Psychology; Writing papers in the psychology of work; The application of ethical principles in the areas of activity of psychologists of work; Continuing education and professional training in the area of psychology of work; Marketing of psychology of work; Ethics of professional conduct.

Learning Outcomes: Mastering the subject enables students to critically consider the theoretical, methodological and practical issues, to define and investigate problems, to propose and evaluate interventions in accordance with professional and ethical requirements of the psychology of work
