Socio-psychological studies in education

Pre-requisites: Prerequisite for attending this course is passed exams from previous years, as required by statute.

Course objectives: Research in social psychology is a course designed as a basic and applied social psychology, which aims to train students in the planning and execution of socia-psychological researches related to different areas.

Course description: The course content varies depending on the interests of students. In consultation with the mentor they choose the area and topic. The course content is selected from the field of Social perception and interaction and Socialization. Pojmovni aparat adopted in these courses serve to further deepen and further study of narrower issues important for other disciplines: opinion polls, surveys political behavior, attitudes towards minority groups, economic behavior, socia-psychological aspects in sports, clinical psychology (eg attitudes towards mental patients), and so on.

Learning Outcomes: Students gain competence and experience in all phases of scientific research. communication skills related to group work on problem solving are developed, due the small working groups.
