Final Paper

Pre-requisites: ---

Course objectives: - Training for critical approach and application of theoretical starting points and research procedures in evaluating and improving the educational practice; - training for scientific-research work and involvement in doctoral studies.

Course description: Final paper represents the report about individual student research work on the approved subject. The selection of the research problem and the appropriate methodological procedures student defines during the Study Research Work course and with the agreement with the mentor. Final paper contains the argumentation for problem selection, description of theoretical and methodological approach, research results, interpretation of their meaning for educational practice and the review of the used literature. After finishing the final paper, student prepares and undertakes the public defense.

Learning Outcomes: Student systematically and critically approaches to dealing with particular problems and uses the relevant resources, reviews the limitations of his/her own work, the perspective and implications on educational practice and masters the professional conventions in reporting.
