Course objectives: To introduce students to the economic and political issues of the times between Serbia and the Republic of Dubrovnik, from the time of Stefan Nemanja to Despot Djurdje Brankovic; working with relevant sources.

Course description: Theoretical: through lectures students will be introduced to the economic and political occurrences of this time period in its various phases of development, in developing the relationship with Dubrovnik and especially economic cooperation between Dubrovnik and Serbia, as well as Western Europe. Practical: on the basis of previous knowledge & sources(from undergraduate study), students will examine and analyze critical documents pertaining to Serbia and Dubrovnik under the guidance of a mentor.

Learning Outcomes: Knowledge of economic and political issues between Serbia and the Republic of Dubrovnik, from the time of Stefan Nemanja to Despot Djurdje Brankovic; critical approach in working with and utilizing sources.
