Pre-requisites: Regular class attendance and meeting all school requirements and responsibilities.

Course objectives: Introducing students to the international relations problems Yugoslavia faced, international influences and factors in the creation of Yugoslavia and its development; the initial directions of its foreign relations.

Course description: Theoretical component encompasses lectures on international conditions during the creation of Yugoslavia as a country, important opponents to its existence, relations with neighboring Balkan countries, maintaining traditional alliances, seeking new political directions, influences of international factors on inner political events. Practical component: enabling students to independently analyze historical sources, evaluate existing literature, critically investigate problems studied in class and formulate results in written and oral form.

Learning Outcomes: Deepening students knowledge and developing critical thinking about the international position of Yugoslavia, continuities and discontinuities of its political sides, relevant player in the creation of international Yugoslavian politics and actions and attitudes on problems dealt with between wars.
