Course objectives: Preparing students methodologically to be able to produce scientific work as well as mastering fundamentals of general methodology and methodology of history. Along with the theoretical component, this class includes practical work.

Course description: Theoretical component: Introduction to general methodology, methods or research, scientific projects. Writing different types of papers to prepare students for completing their final paper and scientific work(articles) in general. Gaining necessary skills and knowledge on the methodology and structuring of scientific research and scientific articles. Practical component (outside the classroom): Visiting archives and the Institute of History. Working with material and writing a research paper.

Learning Outcomes: Upon completing this course, students are able to research, edit, write and produce scientific articles of varying degrees: essays, bachelor's level papers and master's level papers (final works).
