Pre-requisites: Passed exam in Introduction to Gender Studies.

Course objectives: Introducing students to the newest developments and directions of theoretical thought and in feminist activism, globally and locally, with a special examination of feminism and the social position of women in Serbia.

Course description: Modern feminism, especially in countries in transition. Feminism and Womens issues in Serbia.

Learning Outcomes: Enabling students to conduct independent work, critical thinking and awareness of the specific position of women and of feminist activism.
