Serbian Political Life

Pre-requisites: Familiarity with basics in the sociology of politics and social structures, as well as knowledge of the main actors and events in the political life of Serbia from 1990 to the present.

Course objectives: Familiarity with political behaviour of collective actors(elites and individuals) and the electoral body in Serbia

Course description: Political parties and their electoral effects, main actors in contemporary Serbian politics, strategies and interests, key political processes, behaviour of the electoral body, influence of social structures on politics in Serbia.

Learning Outcomes: Upon completing this course, students will have mastered analytical skills necessary for understanding political processes in Serbia and will have an understanding of the key players in Serbian political life.
