Course objectives: The subject aims to introduce with the basic ideas of connectionism as one of the dominant paradigm in cognitive psychology. Also, the subject aimes to explore the way in which to generate a neural network and simulation capabilities of different cognitive and perceptual phenomena.

Course description: Overview of forerunners of connectionism associationism to the first attempts of computer simulations of cognitive processes.

Learning Outcomes: After passing the exam, the student should have basic knowledge of the connectionist approach to the study primarily of cognitive and perceptual phenomena and processes.
