Pre-requisites: There are no prerequisites for Course Attendance. Knowledge from cognitive psychology is useful.

Course objectives: 1. Acquiring knowledge about the basic features of language 2. Introduction to major issues and testing process of cognitive aspects of language

Course description: a. Linguistic and psycholinguistic approach to language b. Speech perception c. Mental lexicon and the processing of individual words, morphology and syntax d. Language as a natural system and generation of linguistic structures

Learning Outcomes: After passing the exam, students gain insight and develop a critical attitude towards different psycholinguistic models and explanations of cognitive aspects of language.
