Course objectives: Theoretical and methodological introduction to the problems caused by stress, ability to better understand work behavior of employees and solve practical problems in prevention, control and dealing with stress at work.

Course description: Theoretical instruction: the concept of stress, theoretical models of stress, work related stress, methodological problems in research, assessment methods and techniques, stress management. Practical instruction: designing stress assessment models and techniques as well as analysing the existing ones, applying them to certain professions and jobs, analysis of stress consequences, developing skills in work stress management.

Learning Outcomes: Acquisition of relevant theoretical knowledge, becoming familiar with methods and techniques of assessment of stress at work as well as with appropriate stress management skills.
