Pre-requisites: Previous knowledge from the courses Methodology of Psychological Research and Statistics in Psychology 1.

Course objectives: Mastering the basic principles of statistical data analysis and the most common procedures of statistical data analysis in psychology.

Course description: Univariate statistical procedures: T-test, one- and two-way analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis, analysis of nominal (categorical) variables, selected statistical procedures for ranked data, robust statistical methods - basic concepts. Conducting statistical procedures in statistical software using examples from psychology.

Learning Outcomes: Possession of knowledge and skills necessary for selecting appropriate statistical procedure for hypotheses testing, implementing statistical data analysis procedures using statistical software as well as for keeping up-to-date with psychological literature.
