Course objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students for better understanding of the interaction between people, relationships within groups and between groups, competent monitoring of the latest relevant literature, and design their own research in this area.

Course description: Social interaction deals with the socio-psychological analysis of interpersonal interaction, intragroup interaction and interaction between groups. The theory and empirical findings from social cognition (reasoning about the characteristics of individuals and groups and the causes of social events), verbal and nonverbal communication, behavior in groups (the phenomenon of group identity, group influence, intragroup conflict and conflict between groups) and interpersonal affection and disfavour are studied.

Learning Outcomes: Student is qualified for deaper understanding of contemporary theories of social interaction and their application in the analysis of interpersonal and intergroup relations, and independent creation and implementation of scientific research dealing with social interaction
