Course objectives: Peace psychology is a course that helps psychology students to understand the complexity of social conflicts and to recognize, correctly interpret and analyze conflicts in different areas and contexts.

Course description: 1. Social conflicts: the concept, types, functions, structure, dynamics 2. Psychological dimensions of conflict 3. Ways of resolving conflict: negotiation and mediation 4. Reconciliation 5. Conflict prevention 6. Assumptions and processes of building sustainable peace

Learning Outcomes: The course enables students to use basic skills in resolving conflicts, their prevention and peace building, and provides orientation for further research in this field of psychology.
