Course objectives: Students will get acquainted with current metaphysical debates, especially those on universals.

Course description: Contemporary debate about which entities should be accepted as ontologically real; confronting Armstron's realism with Cambell's concepton of abstract particulars, which eclude the existence of universlas.

Learning Outcomes: Students will be familiar with contemporary issues from the field of metaphysics.
