Renaissance philosophy

Pre-requisites: None

Course objectives: Students should get familiar with the topics mentioned in the title of the course and at the same time they should devolop the ability to write philosophical papers and the ability for rational, argumentative and critical reviewing of philosophical literature.

Course description: Course topics are renaissance cosmological theories. From the perspective of the shift from Ptolomy's to Newton's cosmology, we'll deal with Copernicus, Kepler, Brache, Galileo and Descartes.
