Course objectives: Students are introduced to various forms of philosophical arguments through detailed consideration of given problems. They should acquire a better insight into the complex and rich conceptual framework of various and often quite distant contemporary philosophical viewpoints.

Course description: The connection between the philosophy of language and metaphysics will be discussed through the old philosophical question of whether verb "to be" expresses the property.

Learning Outcomes: Students are expected to overcome the existing curriculum and to demonstrate the ability to independently analyze given problems.
