Course objectives: The aim of the course is that students gain general knowledge about the most important directions in the philosophy of 20th century.

Course description: Thematically, the course should introduce students to a number of major directions in 20th century philosophy. These directions have usually been arising in relation to one or more similar philosophical problems. This means that these problems will be treated within the course, but the emphasis will be on the way of formulating and the type of answer within a given philosophical direction. Depending on the direction whitin which the problem is defined, the class will be performed by one of two professors: prof. Milos Arsenijevic or prof. Milanko Govedarica.

Learning Outcomes: Students will gain the general overview of directions in 20th century philosophy that will enable them to deal with problems of contemporary philosophy within various philosophical viewpoints.
