Logic with general methodology

Pre-requisites: None

Course objectives: Student should get familiar with the most general knowledge of logic and methodology, necessary for the various fields of scientific research and formulation of theories.

Course description: Following topics are dealt with during the course: judgment types and logical relations between them, types of conclusions, propositional logic, predicate logic, notion of scientific explanation, structure of scientific research, statistical methods appliance.

Learning Outcomes: Students are expected to become familiar with the basic knowledge in logic and general methodology, necessary for the proper conclusions, scientific research, formulation and verification of scientific theories.
