Course objectives: The main objective of the course is the acquisition of necessary knowledge about the history of anthropology and ethnology, and their main theoretical paradigms.

Course description: Definition of ethnological and anthropological paradigms, perspectives, theories and schools Introductory interpretation of the history of anthropology and ethnology Orientation, school paradigm Scientific biographies of leading representatives of the main schools of thought in the history of ethnological and anthropological theories and methods in general.

Learning Outcomes: Students should master the conceptual apparatus of the disciplinary paradigms, develop the capacity for reading and interpreting original literature, extend their writing skills to produce course papers, and develop skills for verbal communication and presentation of their analysis.
