Pre-requisites: Student must be enrolled to 4th year of Classical studies.

Course objectives: Apprehension of major elements that form classic Latin language phrase in regard to modern and especially Serbian language phrase.

Course description: On lectures, Students identify and analyze main elements that form Latin language phrase, especially in the domain of classical Roman prose, in regard to modern and Serbian language phrase. On practicals, through analysis of genuine and translatable Latin and Serbian texts, and through spoken and written translation of shorter texts and segments, main assumptions are illustrated and also students are pointed to specific solutions of general problems.

Learning Outcomes: Deepened comprehension of classic Latin style; mastered skill for translating from Latin to Serbian language, ability to make short, simple but correct and idiomatic texts in Latin.
