Course objectives: To gain relevant knowledge of roman army interactions on the danube coast.

Course description: On the basis of epigraphic and numismatic sources, students will be introduced to the history of the roman army units along the danube coast. During the course, students will study various questions related to the position and movements of legions and helping units in coastal danube provinces (Recija, Norik, Panonia, Moesia, Dakia). The course also addresses floats and numbering/ordering in the provinces.
