Course objectives: Acquiring indispensable knowledge of the institutional, social and cultural history of the Late Roman Republic.

Course description: Students will be introduced to the institutional, social and cultural history of the Late Roman Republic starting with the Diocletian period. The course will address both development of already existing and later newer institutions, examine social relations and categories, as well as major events in cultural history.

Learning Outcomes: Mastering basic concepts in institutional, social and cultural history of the Late Roman Republic.
