Danubian provinces during the era of the Principate

Pre-requisites: No specific requirements.

Course objectives: Acquiring relevant knowledge on the history of Danubian provinces during the era of the Principate.

Course description: On the basis of narrative,epigraphic and numismatic sources, students will be introduced to the history of the Danubian provinces from their establishment to the end of the third century. Over the course, we will address politics, military, institutional, social, economic and cultural history.
