Pre-requisites: The candidate must have attended classes and must have passed exams from the previous years of Art History studies; attendance at lectures and seminars.

Course objectives: Introducing candidates to different methodological approaches and achievements within the study of architecture from antiquity to postmodernism, with special emphasis on historical and comparative methods.

Course description: Theoretical presentation and interpretation of methods for studying the architecture of different eras is carried out through analysis of characterictic thematic units, problems and investigation models, appropriate research instruments, as well as the results that follow. Practical part of teaching is focused on interactive work with the candidates, in order to gradually apply the acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcomes: Candidates are qualified for conducting independent research of general and specific problems of the History of Architecture by applying appropriate methodological models.
