Pre-requisites: To have enrolled in the master program “Methodology for Archaeological Excavations”. The students are obliged to write a minimum of 3 monographies regarding the general theme of the master thesis.

Course objectives: The goal is to gain an insight into the writing of the master thesis and consultations regarding literature, theoretical and methodological standpoints.

Course description: During this 2 semester course which takes the form of mentored research with students, there will be discussions regarding methodology, context and problems while writing the thesis paper.

Learning Outcomes: Midterm examination, seminar, other projects and a written examination.
