Course objectives: Introducing students to different approaches in the analysis of pottery using the newest standards in archaeology; interdisciplinary and experimental analysis, as well as the use of ethno-archaeology in the interpretation of pottery.
Course description: Methods used for analyzing ceramic material and vessels made without the use of a wheel; the use of the knowledge gained form Ethno-archaeology; the goals and methods of interdisciplinary and experimental studies, sampling methods, the interpretation of archaeological context based on pottery analysis.
