Course objectives: Enabling archaeology students: to collect specimens for dating, to determine their archaeological context, and to properly use and interpret results acquired by traditional physical and chemical methods.

Course description: An introduction to the basic techniques of comparative-historical, physical and chemical methods of dating used in modern archaeology.

Learning Outcomes: Students are obliged to attend class and work on a group or individual projects, this entails working on a given subject matter, bibliographical research in the internet center for digital archaeology and the project presentation.
