Archaeological sites; middle age cities and settlements

Pre-requisites: One moth of field work agreed on by the lecturing professor and to have passed one elective under the National archaeology of the Middle Ages.

Course objectives: Acquiring specialized knowledge necessary for researching the local finds dated in the time period between 9th-10th to the end of the 17th century.

Course description: Lectures regarding the available literature, material and certain sites, their differentiation and research; practice in methodology and documentation; the connection with fieldwork.

Learning Outcomes: Essay and oral examination.
