Course objectives: A detailed review of topics that pertain to the study of Paleolithic, Mesolithic and the Neolithic. (Depending on the interests of the candidate)

Course description: The course covers a wider context of studying material culture, economics, art, society and the system of beliefs in early prehistory. Special attention will be given to: analysis of the factors that influenced artifact deposition; spatial analysis; defining the relation between the natural environments, system of settlements and material culture as well as reviewing the social framework in which the changes in material culture and the way of life took place, in the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and the Neolithic.
