Course objectives: Since the modern history of culture and art encloses the expression ‘long XIX century’ that includes the phenomena and trends of the XIX century and late XVIII century, as well as the epochs of neo classicism, romanticism, realism and academism.

Course description: The content of the course stresses the recognition of art creations in their ideological, cultural and social context. The practical segment of the course also includes the introduction and the comprehension of art creations and its context throughout literature, museum presentations, on site work, and electronic data base.

Learning Outcomes: The course is designed to introduce and acquire students with knowledge and understanding of phenomena and art creations from the last quarter of the XVIII and the entire XIX century.
