Professional practice

Pre-requisites: Professional practice in institutions and organizations for adult education can be performed by the students of the fourth year of study of Adult Education who regularly meet the pre-exam obligations of professional-applicative subjects.

Course objectives: Understanding the role of adult educationalist in all the phases of educational / adult educational cycle.

Course description: During the stay in the institution/organization for adult education, students monitor, observe, collect and analyse the data about all the segments of adult educationalist’s work. They actively participate in realization of activities in the domain of the role of adult educationalist and detect the eventual problems that should be researched and solved. During the professional practice students should keep a Journal of practice, which, other than sequence of work procedures, should contain student critical reflections.

Learning Outcomes: Students will: - have the knowledge of contents and areas of work of adult educationalist; - understand the professional role of adult educationalist (as a researcher of educational needs, planner, programmer, manager, organizer, evaluator of educational activities of adults).
