Course objectives: Introducing students into the basic theories and research paradigms of human resource development. Training for practical intervention in the field of human resource development in organizations in private or public sector.

Course description: Theoretical course: Theoretical and historical foundation of human resource development – The concept, subject and constitution of research area – Key paradigms in the field of human resource development – Process of the professionalization and the role of andragogues in developing human resources – Motivation in the field of human resource development – Foundations of learning organization and organizational learning concepts – Changes in modern organization and their influence on human resource development. Practical course: Studying the needs for development and stimulation of human resource development on differential levels (individual, process and organization) – Writing an adult educational intervention plan – Application of various methods, techniques and instruments for recruitment and selection of human resources for hypothetical situation – Case study: review of different aspects of changes in modern organization and possibilities of learning organization and organizational learning concepts implications.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and explain different theories and research paradigms, to apply different approaches, methods, techniques and instruments and, based on the obtained results, to write and to realize the human resource development plan.
